Born from the Moroccan alum stone

In Morocco they call it “shab”: a natural alum stone, and the country’s traditional deodorant, that people have rubbed on after a shower for as long as anyone can remember. Your grandmother probably used one. We started there.

How to use it

  1. Patch test first

    Apply a little to the inside of your arm and wait 24 hours before regular use. Stop using it if irritation develops.

  2. Swipe on clean, dry skin

    A few swipes under each arm. The coconut wax glides on smoothly, so there's no need to press hard.

  3. Reapply when you like

    It's small enough for a gym bag or a desk drawer, so a fresh swipe is never far away.

  4. Keep it cool

    Coconut wax softens in the heat. Keep the cap on and leave it out of hot cars and direct sun.

What is a mineral deodorant?

A mineral deodorant uses a natural mineral salt to help neutralize odor. Sheba is an alum deodorant: its mineral is alum stone, set in a coconut-wax stick so it glides on like any other deodorant.

What is Moroccan alum stone?

Alum stone is a natural mineral crystal and Morocco's traditional deodorant. It's called shab there (الشبة, also written sheba or chebba), and people have rubbed it on after a shower for generations. Sheba puts it into an easy stick, made in Pennsylvania.

What's in it?

What does Rose smell like?

A soft, fresh floral over our clean coconut-wax base. Floral without being loud.

Does it have aluminum chlorohydrate?

No. Sheba is made without aluminum chlorohydrate. It uses alum stone instead, a natural mineral crystal that helps neutralize odor.

How do I use a mineral deodorant?

Patch test first: apply a little to the inside of your arm and wait 24 hours. Then swipe a few times under each arm on clean, dry skin, and reapply whenever you like.

What if it irritates my skin?

Everyone's skin is different, so patch test first. If Sheba irritates your skin, stop using it and email support@trysheba.com. We'll refund your purchase, even if the stick is opened. Refund policy
